Yosemite National Park // Vacation + Portraits + Proposal
Yosemite National Park
The pinnacle of awe-inspiring landscapes in the United States. The very place that inspired the National Park Service to come into existence. It is now a place of huge significance in my life because it's the place I asked Hanna to marry me! As soon as we pulled into the park I suggested we change into nice outfits, set up the tripod, & take a few photos at Tunnel View before the storm really sets in. Little did she know, friend & photographer Jo Johnson flew all the way out from Arkansas to photograph this moment while I had the video recording on my camera!
The three days that followed were full of cold, rainy weather, & amazing sights & memories with Jo, her fiancé, & other friends that came along. Jo turned the adventure into an awesome opportunity to shoot together all over the park. We even did in-home sessions back at their VRBO. Most of what I've included on this blog is from the landscape side of things, but I included some favorites from our portrait sessions too. I can't thank Jo enough for helping capture this moment & taking our engagements in such an amazing place! She'll be at the wedding with camera in-hand.
Photos by Jo Johnson with my edit! SO THANKFUL FOR HER
