Megan & Blake // Sassafras Springs Vineyard Wedding
The Big Day: Megan & Blake’s Wedding day (June 23, 2018) had a forecast of 100% until the very morning of the wedding, & we made it through the day without a single. drop… In fact, it was sunny & warm most of the day before giving way to an amazing sunset. SO many people prayed for this couple leading up to & through their big day, it was such an amazing opportunity for others to see Christ’s love through them. A sunny day full of faithfulness!
Location: Sassafras Springs Vineyard in Springdale, Arkansas is a venue I’ve been a guest to many, many times & I was excited for the opportunity to take my cameras (& wife) this time. Their reception area was beautifully decorated with personal touches from Megan & Blake both. The ceremony was held at the Chapel Ruins under full sun, but a few drops of sweat didn’t hinder a single moment of their vows & communion together.
Highlights: This is not the full delivered gallery, but a selection of some of my favorites that tell the story of their wonderful day. Some of my favorite moments worth noting are the Groom’s-party playing baseball with rocks & sticks while the girls got ready, the bridesmaid’s first-look followed by the girls praying over Megan, the communion that Megan & Blake shared during their ceremony, the BEST personality pics of any wedding party I’ve encountered yet, & some sunset photos we snuck away from the reception for! At the very bottom I’ve included a roll of 35mm film I shot throughout the day.
