Jade & Thomas // Misty Mountain Engagements
Jade & Thomas, Washington state transplants, returned to Arkansas this summer after getting engaged to scout out some venues & plan their wedding! During their trip they scheduled a little adventure with me to capture some engagement photos out & about doing what they love. I don't think any of us expected conditions to be as breathtaking as they were in the Upper Buffalo Wilderness. Since the trip they've asked me to shoot their wedding in Northwest Arkansas & I can't wait!
On the drive from Fayetteville to the Buffalo National River we went through summer shower after shower, worrying slightly about how the weather would turn out for our afternoon shoot. It was actually still raining when we arrived at the first location, but they were total sports & we pushed forward through the drizzle to dreamy fog through the valley we were overlooking. These were my dream conditions! I love quiet, foggy days like this. The only thing that would make it better was if the clouds would clear just enough to set the sunset on fire... & IT DID!
