Outdoor Intimate Wedding // Film Photography 35mm
In the heart of the Ozarks, Kelly and Zach’s intimate wedding unfolds amidst the natural splendor of late April. It’s a day where every detail is a reflection of their journey—a celebration not just of their union but of a family coming together. They chose the Ponca Creek Lodge, a stunning venue near the Buffalo National River, for its breathtaking blend of architecture and nature. Their vision was clear: a day captured in its purest form, candid and authentic, with photos that echo the vibrancy of life.
Along with their Juniper Intimate Wedding Package, they asked for additional film photography, resulting in 6 rolls exposed and over 200 film scans delivered (in addition to 300+ digital photos)! As their chosen 35mm film photographer, my task was to document their day in a way that felt real—capturing the spontaneous, unscripted moments that make up the true story of their wedding.
From the laughter echoing through the Ozark valleys to the serene moments by the river, the day was a tapestry of genuine emotions. The photos, some in vivid color, others in timeless black & white, are a testament to their wish to live in the moment.
This wasn’t just an Ozark elopement; it was an adventure, a step into a life filled with love and the beauty of the Arkansas wilderness. And every frame tells that story—the honest, unfiltered narrative of Kelly, Zach, and their loved ones celebrating love in its most intimate form.
