Brittany & Micah // Ozark Summer Engagements

Locations: Twin Falls at Camp Orr + Sam’s Throne Recreational Area

Brittany & Micah spent a summer afternoon with us in Buffalo River country to get engagements done leading up to their winter wedding this year! Getting to know them more personally on the drive out was something I valued so much going into working with them during such a big event in their lives. I know a lot of people see a “photoshoot” as a chore or something to they’d rather get over with, so I make it a point to turn these engagements into a memory people would want to hang on to. Brittany & Micah got to see these places for the first time during our outing, & we made sure it was an experience they’re happy to look back on through photos. The sunset at Sam’s Throne was one I’m definitely still reliving in my own head too! I’ve gotten out to these locations many times before, but this shoot in particular was one where I felt like I got to stretch my creative muscles & give them images I know I’d love to have hanging on my own wall.

This blog is also a reminder that most “adventure photographers” out there are really sleeping on Arkansas, & that’s totally okay with me. I’d love to show off more of my favorite places with any of you in tow, so reach out & let’s make something happen if you’re up for it!
