Summer Wedding on 35mm Film + Digital Photos

What is Hybrid Wedding Photography?

I’ve been photographing weddings on “hybrid” mediums for a few years now, but Jake and Ryann’s summer wedding at Fairlane Station in Springdale, Arkansas was the first wedding I was requested to shoot predominately on 35mm film. My wife & second shooter covered the entire wedding on a digital camera, as I also had a digital camera as my “side-arm,” but throughout the day I shot through 5 rolls (over 100 photos) on 35mm film. The film I used was varied and selected to give our friends and clients a nostalgic feel of old vacation and family photos taken on film. I shot two rolls of Lomography 400 speed color film, one roll of now-discontinued Fuji Pro 400h, and two rolls of Kodak Ultramax 400.
