2019 // A Year in GIFs

I’ve always loved motion in photography. By nature, a photograph freezes the scene, so anything I can do to incorporate motion into a frame helps create emotion with the subject. I think we can all agree that the first time we saw the living/moving photos in Harry Potter, we wished they were real. And here we are in the 2000’s with the capability to make our own GIFs!

I set this up as a challenge to myself in the summer of 2019 to start creating GIFs at every session & wedding to push my own creativity. Some worked better than others, but above anything else I learned a lot in the process. I’m so thankful to the people who were patient & trusting with me to make this happen. These people trusted us with their truth, to emphasize their connected, & to capture their experience!
